FN Platform

Platform just took place in Vegas where the big trends were leopard, pony hair, sequins, wedges, booties and of course-platforms. Below are a few personal favorites from the show:

Helmut Lang Fall 2012

Nicole and Michael Colovos borrowed heavily from nature in their prints of leafless trees and lava swirls, but when it came to the shoes they left the silhouettes to the best- L.D. Tuttle.  Tiffany's signature architectural heels are hard to miss and the red lava print on leather is really hot.

Unfortunately, Helmut Lang made the mistake of covering up the over-the-knee boots with trousers.

Rodarte Fall 2012

The Mulleavy's, this season, were inspired by the Island of Oz (Australia). Though some of the clothing did look like it walked off the set of Baz Luhrmann's Australia, the shoes, the real show stoppers, had a mind of their own. This was the most wearable collection, yet.  I could see myself adding any of the below styles to my wardrobe, including the ones with sand in the plexiglass heel.

Baldan

I'm back after a 3 month hiatus and loving this spring weather in Los Angeles. It has me ditching my boots and searching for new wedge sandals.  My choice, these ruched open toes from Baldan.

Both colors are currently available at Farfetch.com
